About Archetyp

Independent write-ups, including DNM Watch and Wikipedia-style summaries, date Archetyp to May 2020 and describe a drug-focused Tor shop rather than a multi-category catalog. When live, directories recorded 2FA, PGP, and Monero — no Bitcoin and no escrow tag. That coin policy matches public pages that call the shop Monero-only from the start.

A dedicated torwiki.org/top-darknet-markets/archetyp/ page was not available when we checked (HTTP 404). TorWiki’s July 2026 markets index still names Archetyp on its shutdowns table as seized in 2025, with a short note about Operation DEEP Sentinel and a misconfigured backup. That is a historical row on TorWiki, not a live review page.

Reuters, Europol-linked reporting, BleepingComputer, The Register, and TRM Labs described a June 2025 international action often named Operation Deep Sentinel. Those accounts said infrastructure in the Netherlands was taken offline between 11 and 13 June, that a suspected German administrator was arrested in Barcelona, and that other arrests were made in Germany and Sweden, with U.S. assistance. Secondary articles cite large user, listing, and volume figures; those numbers vary, so we do not copy them into the card.

Those public reports treat the shop as closed. This catalog now lists Archetyp as Seized — a historical row, aligned with the Eurojust and Europol notices. Onion rows stay empty. A reused brand after a widely reported takedown is a common phishing lure — treat any address you find elsewhere as untrusted until you check a signed canary and a second independent source.
